Hydroponics is a method of growing plants using mineral nutrient solutions, in water, without soil. Plants may be grown with their roots in the mineral nutrient solution (static solution culture, continuous-flow solution culture and aeroponics - types of systems: nutrient film technique /NFT/, flood and drain technique, deep water culture technique and raft technique), or in an inert medium (Pea Gravel, Coarse Sand, Sawdust, Perlite, Vermiculite, Peat Moss, Rockwool, Expanded Clay Pellets, Coconut Fiber, Grow Stones, Oasis Cubes and Matrix Media – Biological Surface Area).

Our technical components are designed to remove the fish waste products and supply oxygen. At the same time the water treatment system must maintain optimum culture conditions with respect to for example pH; salinity and alkalinity and must minimize stress and concentrations of parasites and pathogens.

Our indoor fish farming systems (RAS) are housed in an insulated building, smart farms that are simple, sustainable, in a controlled environment, cost-effective, and easily scalable, to enable better control of the farming environment, especially temperature.

Our cutting edge indoor (RAS) and outdoor systems allow the efficient production of aquatic species with minimum quantities of water, energy, natural resources and low level of maintenance, high level of disease resistance, eliminate stress-inducing factors and reduce fingerling and consume fish mortality (under 1%).

DHQ in Food Industry

The DHQ application in the food industry does not modify organoleptic properties of the food products.

Adding to pre-packed foods to cause a health benefit as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent, accelerates stability over 30 weeks, corresponding to 5 years of normal shelf life.

DHQ can reduce the lipid peroxidation, with the prolongation of food products shelf life in 1.5 – 4.0 times. The presence of even small amounts of DHQ prevents an "oxidative stress" and also helps to protect the body against free radicals.

DHQ in Dairy Products Industry
