Dr. Tatjana Jevremovic is a Presidential Endowed Chair Professor
in Nuclear Engineering and the newly appointed Director of the Nuclear
Engineering Program at the University of Utah, as well as a Professor
in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and a Professor in Chemical
Engineering. She earned the BS and MS degrees at the University
of Belgrade, Serbia in the field of nuclear engineering, and the
PhD degree at the University of Tokyo, nuclear engineering. She
has broad experience in project-management pertaining to environmental
protection systems for fossil-fired and industrial facilities, design
and analysis of nuclear reactors, new approaches in treatment of
cancers, computational algorithm developments for reactor design,
nuclear material detection and binary targeted therapies, and the
space radiation dose estimates. Dr. Jevremovic has years of working
experience in Balkan region, Japan and USA in industry and academia.
She has authored a textbook published by Springer, “Nuclear Principles
in Engineering”, and over 100 scientific and technical papers, and
more than 80 technical reports
